Skirmish is a site that's dedicated to promoting quality underground music from Ireland and abroad. From Techno to Drum And Bass, Dubstep to I.D.M. and everthing in between as long as it's good and has substance.

The blog was set up in 2009 by myself, Ken as a source for me to rant about music I love. After returning from finishing my degree in the UK, I jumped aboard The Mixtape - a radio show that my dear friends Shiv and Caroline were hosting. The show's still going strong every Friday from 4 to 4.30 on CCR 98.3 FM. Shiv and Caroline then came on board the blog and we now run it together. We all share an obsession and enthusiasm for music that we want to get across through this site by posting music we truly love and featuring mixes and interviews with some of our favourite producers and DJ's.
                                                                                                          

We also want to spread the word and promote the Irish electronic scene. There are heaps of excellent producers and DJ's in the country that deserve exposure as well as loads of promoters and clubnights, record stores and others that are all helping the scene grow in Ireland and we want to do our best to help promote them.
